In order to successfully benefit from lucrative feed-in tariffs, more and more small energy plants with potentially low feed-in power are merging to form virtual power stations. Biogas plants for example generally have a feed-in power of 0.1 to 0.5 MW. To participate in the secondary balancing energy market however an energy provider must provide 5 MW.
There are various different communication channels for the prescribed data-technical link, e.g. DSL, mobile network or satellite. mdex communication solutions operate independently from the underlying communication infrastructure here.
To facilitate direct access to a plant mdex designs a custom VPN, a user group closed to the outside. The complexity and characteristics of the communication architecture and infrastructure are custom-designed and encapsulated by mdex.
