Description – LTE router MX760

LTE router MX760 – powerful | reliable

The mdex LTE MX760 router comes from the latest generation of mdex industrial routers. With an aluminium encasement, extended temperature range and optimisation for data communication via LTE, the MX760 meets all the latest industry standards. The LTE router is designed for assembly on the top-hat rail and allows uncomplicated connection and start-up with the usual equipment included in mdex deliveries (antenna, plug-in mains adapter and LAN cable).

LTE – more power, more functions

As a dual SIM mobile router, the MX760 can establish connections with two different mobile network providers, thus enabling redundant data communication. The mobile communications standards supported are GPRS/EDGE, UMTS/HSPA+ and LTE. The MX760 is optimised for OpenVPN encrypted connections and can also be used as a router for DSL, cable or satellite connections.

Custom configuration, intuitive operation

The web configuration interface of the MX760 offers intuitive operation in spite of its extensive range of functions, e.g. through the creation of various configuration profiles. The router can be individually pre-configured in line with customer specification on request. The LTE MX760 router has been designed specifically with industrial application in mind and, thanks to its firmware, is configurable for a variety of application-specific requirements.

Examples – LTE router MX760

Use as a mobile router for remote access

The mdex MX760 mobile router allows you quick and uncomplicated remote access to connected terminal devices. Depending on your application case, simply activate the already pre-installed mdex Vodafone SIM and combine this with our mdex IP services (fixed public or fixed private IP addresses). Then your connected terminal device will be remotely accessible in just a few short steps. You can of course use your own SIM cards or non-mdex IP services. You can easily view the individual set-up steps in the MX760 set-up instructions.

mdex installation support

Do you need support in the set-up of your MX760? No problem.
You can add installation support to your order for a one-off fee of € 48 (net).

Fail-safe data communication with dual SIM and WAN fallback

Are you dependent on high-availability data communication and require a fail-safe solution? No problem. The MX760 can act as a back-up solution for your DSL connection (WAN fallback) or, as a dual SIM router, can establish a high-availability mobile network connection to two different mobile network providers. If the configured primary connection fails, then the mdex router automatically switches to the alternative mobile network connection.

Our Tip

Do you want to use the MX760 as a back-up solution and require support in the set-up process?
Simply add the optional installation support to your order and our support team will assist you in setting your MX880 up as a fallback.
