Condition monitoring using mobile networks
Condition monitoring increases the safety and efficiency of stationary machines, plant and vehicles. The precondition for the gathering of condition data is a temporary or permanent data communications connection between the object and the control centre.
Secure always-online connections
The connection between the system in the field and the condition monitoring application can be established using mdex. It is carried out using mobile networks (GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSPA) or, alternatively, via an existing DSL connection on site. Data transmission is carried out in a secure private network (openVPN or IPsec) or via a Web-based connection (HTTP).
